NOTE: Mangoes probably won't be completely ready upon conveyance, saving them in a warm spot for a day or two is recommended.Mangoes will be dispatched between Monday and Thursday. This is to guarantee that the mangoes stay new and in amazing condition.
Fresh Mango Sherbet Egyptian Style (Gelati al Manga)
Peel 3 mangoes and cut away the flesh. Cut flesh into cubes and put them into the container of a food processor or blender. Process to a fine puree. There should be about three cups. Pour and scrape the puree into a mixing bowl.
Soften 1tablespoon of unflavored gelatin in cold water. Add ½ cup boiling water and stir to dissolve. Add ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice to the mango puree. Add 1 cup of sugar and blend well. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the container of an ice cream freezer. Freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
