Quick recipe

Fried moong dal- savoury jar snack (extremely delicious Indian famous evening snack)

  1. Soak yellow moong dal in water for an hour, drain and dry the dal covering with a cotton cloth for about 15 mins or until there is no water left.
  2. Deep fry in a big strainer until it becomes crispy but not brown.
  3. Use tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  4. Sprinkle salt, very little chat masala evenly over it and toss well.
  5. Store it in a jar and munch on them whenever you feel a bit hungry
