Papaya scientifically known as Caraica Papaya is a tropical fruit originated from America. This vitamin K an E rich fruit looks like a long oval shaped melon which has juicy sweet pulp with black seeds on the inside. The seeds of this fruit are not edible. The pulp tastes sweet and a bit like mix of melon and apricot when fully riped.

A ripe papaya which is ready to eat feels firm after pressing but not hard and turns orangish- yellow in colour from outside.
Slice lengthwise, remove seeds and scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
If it is a little hard, leave in room temperature for ripening.
Store in fridge once ripe.

Papaya Split (healthy morning breakfast)
Slice papaya lengthwise into two halves and remove all the seeds.
Add 2 spoons of yogurt to papaya.
Now add black berries, sliced straw berries and your favourite fruits sliced into small pieces.
Add 1-2 tb spoon of museli.
Garnish with cinnamon powder and chopped dry fruits of your choice.
