Rambutan is scientifically known as Nephelium lappaceum, it not only resembles the appearance of the lychee, but also the taste. It does not taste too sweet but has a slightly sour and mild taste. The origin of the fruit lies in Southeast Asia. Rambutan is rich in fiber, vitamin C and copper and contains smaller amounts of other vital nutrients.
